The North Loop is one of the Minneapolis neighborhoods I know especially well after more than 20 years working with downtown condo, loft and townhome buyers and sellers. Located along the northwestern edge of downtown near the Mississippi River, the neighborhood combines historic warehouse buildings, converted lofts, newer condominium developments, townhomes, restaurants, retail and riverfront access.
One of the things that makes North Loop real estate unique is how different individual buildings can be. Buyers may be comparing authentic warehouse conversions with exposed brick and timber, newer loft-style construction, traditional condo layouts, live/work units or riverfront townhomes.
