Living Near Cedar Lake, Lake of the Isles & Bde Maka Ska: Three Minneapolis Lakes, Three Different Personalities
One of the things I've always appreciated about Minneapolis is how quickly you can go from the energy of the city to feeling like you're somewhere completely different.
Nowhere is that more apparent than around Cedar Lake, Lake of the Isles, and Bde Maka Ska.
These three lakes sit close together on the western side of Minneapolis, connected by trails, parkways, and waterways. You can explore all three in an afternoon, but each has its own personality.
