Fulton offers a slightly quieter residential atmosphere while maintaining excellent access to schools and neighborhood parks. Buyers often prioritize Fulton for its block-by-block consistency and family-friendly layout. Roads like Forestdale Road and red Cedar Lane are unique roads in the area with lots of appeal. Access to all of the restaurants, etc., on 50th is also a big bonus

Lynnhurst

Lynnhurst is a quiet, residential neighborhood known for tree-lined streets with proximity to Minnehaha Creek. Buyers value its balance of neighborhood calm, strong school access, and easy connections throughout Southwest Minneapolis. Like a lot of these Minneapolis neighborhoods kids often live within walking distance to school. Lynnhurst Park located off of 50th St. is an awesome place you around supporting things like park board soccer, baseball diamonds, and in the winter the field is flooded for skating. 

East Harriet

East Harriet provides immediate access to Lake Harriet while maintaining a residential feel just off the lake paths. Housing includes a mix of two-story homes and bungalows, appealing to buyers who want walkability without heavy lakefront traffic. This neighborhood has mixed inventory, but Fremont Avenue will be one of the more expensive roads in this area close to the Rose Gardens. Large lots and large homes are common.

Kingfield

Kingfield is known for its strong neighborhood identity, community events, and central location within South and Southwest Minneapolis. Homes here often attract buyers seeking character, value, and proximity to multiple commercial corridors. Don't miss the Kingfield farmers market! This neighborhood borders, Tangletown and 46th St. is a great road for restaurants, including patisserie 46 for pastries in the morning :)

Kenny

Kenny is a smaller neighborhood near the southwestern edge of the city, offering a quieter atmosphere with access to parks, schools, and nearby retail areas. Housing stability and long-term ownership are common themes. Grass Lake there's a cute little lake on the south end of the city that offers nice ambience and often skating in the winter. If you're looking for a rambler in the city, this can be a good move.

Armatage

Armatage offers a great park system, access to a number of restaurants and very proximal to the freeway system. The inventory stock will range anywhere from 1950s story to half homes to new construction, where teardowns happened. Armatage Park and school offer all of the amenities you could want including a little skate park, ice-skating in the winter, baseball diamonds and soccer fields.

Tangletown

Tangletown features rolling streets, distinctive architecture, and proximity to Minnehaha Creek. Its unique topography and older housing stock attract buyers who value charm and individuality within Southwest Minneapolis. the topography of this area and the way the roads are situated is very unique to the city. There is no other area of Southwest Minneapolis that feels like this. Driving through it this may be one of your favorite locations.  Freeway access is excellent as is walk ability to Washburn high school.
