Carol Welty:
Rentals Management Coordinator

Minnesota native Carol Welty spent years working in the Milwaukee area before moving back to Minneapolis to start a new adventure. Carol prides herself on bringing a creative spirit to the workplace, and is excited to bring that energy to DRG in her role as Rentals Management Coordinator. Carol lives and works in the North Loop and is looking forward to exploring the Twin Cities on her bike she calls “Mary Tyler Moore.” Carol’s love of providing excellent customer service should serve her well in this dynamic Minneapolis condo and loft industry.

Matt Decker: Rentals Management Coordinator

Twin Cities native Matt Decker was born with an artist’s eye. An interior design aficionado, he found himself both inspired and intrigued by the architecture and décor unique to the warehouse condos and lofts of the downtown area. Even as he enjoyed great success as an independent sales representative, Matt felt himself drawn to real estate. Currently in the process of completing his degree in Communications and Leadership at Bethel University, Matt is dedicated to continuing to expand his knowledge of the dynamic downtown market to better serve the DRG clients who are looking to make their home there. In his off hours, Matt indulges his passion for music, travel, red wine, art and photography. On the weekends, you will likely find Matt playing gigs around Minneapolis, having coffee with friends or listening to records at his apartment in Northeast.

Megan Sharbono: Rentals Management Director

As a former downtown event coordinator, Megan Evans-Sharbono is no stranger to juggling multiple demands with aplomb. And that talent has only continued to grow during her time with DRG. In her role as Rentals Management Director, Megan holds herself to exacting standards, insisting on the best from herself and her team in order to deliver the level of service her clients have come to expect. Prior to joining DRG, Megan spent four years living and working in downtown, where she learned to fully appreciate the plentiful perks of urban living. Whether taking a bike ride across the Stone Arch or grabbing a pint at The Local, Megan loves continually discovering the abundance that Minneapolis has to offer.

Rick Gendreau: Director Of Oporations

A serial entrepreneur from a family of entrepreneurs based in Minneapolis, MN, Rick has been involved in over forty small businesses, in nine industries, in seven different states. After graduating from St. John’s University in Collegeville, MN with a degree in accounting, he opened the first of what was to be over thirty franchise businesses in six industries over twenty years. Aside from franchising, Rick has also started, grown, and sold several independent small businesses, from government-contract janitorial services to venture-capital consulting. The relationship with Downtown Resource Group grew out of Rick’s passion and avocation: being of service, and working with new and small businesses and the entrepreneurs that run them. Rick helped with the initial Strategic Plan for DRG, and has since worn several hats including strategic planning, financial management, rental-management development, and new market development. In addition to his responsibilities as Director of Operations, Rick feels strongly that one of his main roles is to not only support his fellow DRG co-workers, but to offer that same unwavering support to DRG clients as well. Rick and his wife Nancee have been happily married for fifteen years, and have three children Kaya, Joey and Jacob.
